Jo Alice in her own words . . . continued . . . Here, in California, I had my first son, Adam. I continued to work, and teach, and joined the Musician's Union, where I've had many gigs, and many bands to work in. I am very a happily married. I am a mother of three brilliant children. My youngest boy is 9 , Sebastian, baseball and basketball and Lia my 10 year old daughter does too. We have two wonderful dogs. They live outside. Two cats, likewise. 2 fish, one Burmese Python snake. An Albino male rabbit, that we rescued from the neighbors dog. We had him fixed, and my husband would rather give him back to the dogs! He used to poop and spray everything and chews up the wires to everything, now we keep him in a cagey. He is cuddly sometimes, but experienced Pit being that he almost died in the grips of a Chow, three days traumatized immobilized but he ate the salad we fed him and came back to life in 3 days. My husband regrets, because when he has tried to kiss the rabbit, the rabbit has spaz attacks !! Weird aren't we ?!? I will be 59 in ten years, and hope to be a great mom with a steady part time job of course teaching music, and art, as that's what I love. I want to see my children get a college education and not have to struggle as I have with unstable incomes. I want to be able to support them until they are confident they can support themselves. I lived in Holland for a total of 13 years, as my oldest sons dad is Dutch. There kids live with their parents until they are 27 years old, unless they marry, before they are given a permit for their own place. Living space is limited, as Holland is a tiny country. With exorbitant costs of living, I am willing to support them here as long as I can. You can check out some pix from our family album... |
